- Managing workflows to ensure all payroll transactions are being processed accurately
- Overseeing the outsourced payroll provider
- Communicating information to pension providers, HMRC, and other statutory bodies
- Overseeing reward and benefits policies, ensuring compliance with employment law
- Focusing on diversity and inclusion in all policies
- Conduct benchmarking, equal pay audits, and annual pay reviews
- Undertaking regular market-related pay research
- Acting as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance to management

- Proven background in managing end-to-end payroll processes
- Strong understanding of reward strategies, benefits administration, and benchmarking
- Ability to analyse data, conduct pay audits, and use HR and payroll systems
- Up-to-date knowledge of payroll-related legislation, tax compliance, and reward policies
- Experience managing projects
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team & set clear goals
- High level of accuracy in managing payroll data, benefits administration, and reporting
- Problem solving skills
- Proficient in using payroll and HR software
