Empowering Learning is working with a SEMH School in Harrogate HG3, who are seeking Unqualified Behaviour Support Assistants in their classrooms on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. These roles are due to start ASAP.

You will be involved in classroom duties and off-site recreational activities.

Duties- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism.- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.- Help students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.- Support students in their academic and social development.- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
