Reed Finance are recruiting on behalf of our industry leading client for a hands-on and self-motivated Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This vital role supports both finance and operations, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple departments to ensure continued growth of the business.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

Accounting and Bookkeeping:

  • Manage monthly invoicing, overseeing Accounts Payable, Invoicing and Expenses.
  • Assist with producing accurate budgets and forecasts for upcoming projects.
  • Reconciliation of accounts, identifying and addressing any discrepancies in financial records.
  • Work closely with the Finance Director to deliver financial reporting, budget oversight and compliance.
  • Assist with tax preparation and coordinate with external accountants as required.

Other support duties:

  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to verify stock quantities and address any discrepancies.
  • Calculating costings, margins and analysing sales performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure accurate ordering, receipt, and storage.
  • Manage stock replenishment processes to ensure timely and cost-effective supply.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
