With a strong history of academic excellence, this school is seeking a proactive and experienced Head of Estates to lead the strategic and operational management of their facilities.About the roleAs Head of Estates, you will take charge of maintaining and enhancing the school's buildings and grounds to ensure the highest standards of safety and functionality. You will oversee the implementation of the school's estate strategy, manage facilities, ensure compliance, and drive forward exciting development projects.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support site staff, fostering collaboration and flexibility in working practices.
- Lead and manage projects aimed at improving the school's premises, including planning and development initiatives.
- Balance office-based tasks with contractor collaboration and hands-on premises management.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and Health and Safety protocols.
- Build strong relationships with staff, contractors, and stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in estates, facilities and property management in an educational environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Strong project management abilities, with a proven record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships across all levels.
