We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee operations for a cleaning contracts company. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all cleaning contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage recurring and ad hoc cleaning work, ensuring all details (access, permits, timing) are confirmed.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm schedules, handle queries, and reschedule as required.
  • Support the operations team, addressing issues and liaising with subcontractors.
  • Prepare and follow up quotes, and manage jobs through Simpro from lead to invoicing.
  • Organize stock orders, equipment hire, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance by preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) as needed.
  • Onboard new staff and organize toolbox talks and training.

Goals:

  • Complete all schedules for the following week by Friday at 12 noon.
  • Ensure small jobs (<£500) are invoiced within 48 hours, and larger jobs (>£500) within 7 days.
  • Avoid missed recurring jobs without prior authorization.
  • Work with management to improve operational processes and efficiency.
