Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Support the development of students' social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Implement and manage behavioural strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to adapt resources and lesson plans to meet individual needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and safe environment for students to thrive both academically and emotionally.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A passion for supporting students with SEMH needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and resilience.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
