James George Recruitment are working with a successful client in their search for an Office Administrator.

Job description

We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Office Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to gain valuable Sales, Admin and Account management experience with a view to progress within the company in the future.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks will include -

  • Processing Customer sales orders.
  • Customer Service via phone and email, handling customer and supplier enquiries and queries.
  • Answering in bound telephone calls.
  • Any general office administration tasks as required.
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Book Vehicles and Transport for deliveries
  • Ensure the relevant materials are here ready for production
  • Completing spreadsheets and information as required
  • Creating quotes and amending customers specifications.
  • Weekly stock reports and keeping all stock levels up to date and insure we always have a good level of stock

You will also be asked to help with further tasks, such as -

  • Reviewing Customer recent order reports, identifying sales opportunities as well as business we may have lost then reporting back to the Account Manager.
  • Assist with projects from Directors/Sales Reps as and when required.

Person Specification

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including well developed presentation and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and exercise a proactive approach, with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Confident and able to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office
  • Must be self-motivated & hungry to achieve success
  • High attention to detail
  • Sales and customer service experience is preferred
