Year 4 Teacher (2 Days per Week)

• Start Date: 24th February 2025
• Salary: 160 - 260 per day (commensurate with experience)
• Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (2 days per week, Thursdays and Fridays)
• Location: Hayes, Middlesex

A vibrant and successful school in Hayes is seeking a Year 4 teacher for a part-time, job share position starting after the February half-term in 2025. Job Overview:

The school is looking for a passionate Year 4 teacher to join a job share arrangement, covering two days a week on Thursdays and Fridays. You will work collaboratively with the other Year 4 teacher to plan and deliver lessons, ensuring a high standard of education is maintained. This is a wonderful opportunity for teachers looking for a flexible, part-time role in a supportive school community.
The contract has the potential to become permanent at the end of the academic year in July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Year 4, in line with the school's curriculum.
• Collaborating with the other Year 4 teacher to plan and manage classroom activities effectively.
• Promoting high standards of learning, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
• Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment for all students.
• Upholding safeguarding responsibilities and promoting the school's values.

Requirements:

• Experience in teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2), preferably with Year 4.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent teaching experience (within the last 5 years).
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly in English and Maths.
• A creative, enthusiastic, and organized approach to teaching.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
