We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented Furniture Installation Supervisor based in Hayes for a business who is a leading supplier of workspace solutions. They are currently seeking an experienced Furniture Installation Manager to join their team. 

  • Salary - 28k-30k depending on experience.
  • Permanent Position.
  • Days of Work - Monday - Friday.
  • Hours of Work - 6am to 2.30pm though flexibility is expected given the nature of the role.
  • Available immediately.
  1. Preparation and Planning for Installations

    • Schedule and plan daily furniture installations.
    • Organize resources, including support staff and transportation.
    • Verify that all furniture and peripheral parts are in stock and in good condition.
    • Ensure tools and trolleys are available and functional.
    • Load vehicles promptly to adhere to the delivery and installation schedule.
  2. Customer Installations

    • Meet customer requirements for date and time.
    • Address location, access, and security needs.
    • Follow installation instructions, including layout and floor plans.
    • Maintain customer courtesy and minimize impact on nearby activities.
    • Supervise support personnel during installation.
    • Accurately record installation completion and any changes to the original specifications.
  3. Collections

    • Adhere to date and time requirements.
    • Complete necessary paperwork, including updating collection notes or filling out an ‘Unauthorized Collection’ form.
  4. Daily Unloading

    • Fully unload the van upon returning to the warehouse.
    • Clearly identify unloaded items with appropriate paperwork detailing collection information.
  5. Paperwork Completion

    • Update delivery notes manually, noting any changes and snagging requirements.
    • Ensure delivery notes are fully detailed (date, signature, printed name, etc.).
    • Document unauthorized collections.
    • Record all data on mileage and deliveries.
    • Reconcile returned items with proper paperwork.
    • Complete van check and clean sheets.
