Day to Day of the role:
- Manage and plan vehicles for import collections and export deliveries efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with all departments regarding operational issues.
- Ensure all legal compliances, including DVSA, WTD, and UK legislation, are adhered to.
- Work collaboratively as part of the transport team.
- Be flexible with working times and days as part of a shift operation.
- Maintain clear and effective communication at all levels, dealing with both internal and external customers.
- Uphold all processes and procedures.
- Solve problems effectively and enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with shared mailboxes.
- Highly motivated with the ability to multitask.
- IT generalist knowledge, with experience in Transport Management systems and proficiency in MS Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail, customer service, administration, and financial awareness.
