Tony Alan is excited to announce our exclusive partnership with a renowned organisation in East Sussex to recruit their HR Business Services Manager. They strive for excellence in everything they do and support their staff to foster a culture of creativity and innovation.

As the HR Business Services Manager, reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to supporting the company’s strategic and operational objectives, the people strategy, and the HR digital strategy. You will play a key role in delivering a seamless employee experience by ensuring the efficient delivery of core services and managing all employee transactions throughout the employee lifecycle. You will collaborate with the HR Business partner, Reward and Payroll teams and establish strong working relationships with managers and senior leadership to understand the current and future business challenges, objectives and associated requirements. This will be a fixed term contract for a period of 18 months, although this could potentially be extended.

In this role, personal impact and credibility are essential to drive future growth. This is a pivotal position where such duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Lead, enhance, and sustain high-quality, professional HR Business Services, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
  • Manage transactional HR activities delivered by the HR Services team, ensuring a strong commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Contribute to the design and execution of policies and procedures that enable the achievement of organisational goals
  • Provide expert guidance to management on the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Partner with the Senior HR Business Services Manager to enhance and implement an effective onboarding framework
  • Manage and maintain a secure employee HR Database in-line with GDPR
  • Provide daily leadership and direction to the Business Services team, carrying out annual performance reviews to support growth, identify development needs and training opportunities.

You will bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments while effectively managing ongoing projects. If you have proven experience in managing customer-focused HR business services, overseeing large-scale HR transactions, and successfully developing and implementing key business processes with a focus on continuous improvement, this will be highly valued by my client. Strong business acumen, along with exceptional influencing and stakeholder management abilities, are essential for this role.
