- Administer and process end-to-end monthly, Lunar and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using finance software.
- Calculate and process statutory deductions, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
- Maintain accurate employee pay records, ensuring all changes (starters, leavers, changes in employment status, and changes in role) are updated promptly.
- Managing P11D's and Annual Returns.
- Processing P60s, P45s, start letters and induction documentation
- Prepare Bacs payment file
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation, tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports to relevant authorities including RTI, EPS FPS and ONS.
- Process employee benefits, including pension contributions, salary sacrifice car scheme, bike to work, employee loans and other benefits.
- Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Complete payroll year end transactions and assist in the external audit process.
- Provide relevant payroll information for financial reporting purposes.
- Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of payroll processes.
- Continuously seek ways to improve payroll systems and processes, increasing accuracy and efficiency
- Line Management responsibility for x2 payroll administrators
- Ensure pension is deducted and paid over to provider.
- Ensure all automatic enrolment letters and duties are carried out.
