My client is looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to drive long-term brand growth for their Grocery & Convenience business. This role involves creating effective and industry-leading customer marketing programmes for two of their esteemed alcohol brands. With a retail sales value of £200m across the UK Off & On-Trade channels, this is an exceptional opportunity for a marketing professional to advance their career in the drinks industry.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Lead the development and implementation of annual customer marketing plans for the UK Grocery & Convenience channel, ensuring alignment with brand and channel strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners and agencies to deliver best-in-class activity, including retailer media, e-commerce, and POS.
  • Support the sales teams by developing strategic partnerships and presenting marketing plans with creativity and impact.
  • Manage the full mix of in-channel marketing activity, ensuring brand visibility and availability.
  • Work with the Brand and Artwork Teams to develop creative assets for channel POS in line with brand guidelines.
  • Evaluate marketing activity to understand ROI and inform future planning.
  • Communicate activity plans to the commercial team and business engagingly and timely.
  • Manage annual investment forecasting and provide accurate quarterly spend estimates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years’ experience in customer marketing within the FMCG industry, ideally in Grocery & Convenience channels.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and analytical skills.
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver with a proactive and creative approach.
  • Adaptable and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate well with others.
