My client is seeking a proactive Reception Administrator to join their friendly and growing team in a diverse business. Based in a high-spec office in Hertfordshire, this role is ideal for someone with previous administration experience who is confident in managing phone calls and has a self-starter attitude. Day-to-day of the role:- Check deliveries and sign off delivery notes, ensuring all orders are complete and maintaining a digital record of these notes.
- Arrange and manage deliveries.
- Maintain various databases and ensure accurate digitalisation of records.
- Handle filing, scanning and preparation of outgoing post, including trips to the post office.
- Answer telephone calls, take messages and manage email enquiries.
- Cover the reception area, greet customers and ensure all visitors are signed in and out appropriately.
- Maintain office supplies, including stationery and ensure the kitchen area and facilities are tidy and stocked.
- Manage uniform and first aid stock as well as perform other health and safety tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of the office and equipment.
- Undertake ad hoc administrative tasks and projects as required.
- Confident, approachable, with a can-do attitude.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel and Outlook.
