Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with a strong background in Mitsubishi and Omron PLC systems to join our dynamic team in the Food & Beverage industry. This role is perfect for a problem-solver passionate about automation, skilled in software design, and well-versed in industry standards for project documentation and system testing. You will have a direct impact on ensuring our automation systems meet the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and reliability.Key Responsibilities:PLC Programming & Development: Design, develop, and test PLC programs for Mitsubishi and Omron platforms to meet operational requirements.Software Tools & Documentation: Create and manage all necessary project documentation, including URS (User Requirement Specifications), FDS (Functional Design Specifications), FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).Automation Integration: Integrate PLCs with sensors, actuators, HMIs, and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.System Testing & Validation: Oversee the full testing life cycle, from initial factory tests to on-site validation, ensuring all controls systems meet required performance and quality standards.Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Provide technical support for diagnosing and troubleshooting automation issues, optimising system performance, and minimising downtime.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing process improvements, developing and implementing automation solutions that boost productivity and reduce costs.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer, with specific expertise in Mitsubishi and Omron PLCs.Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in the Food & Beverage industry, understanding the unique requirements, regulations, and standards.Technical Skills:Proficiency in PLC software programming for Mitsubishi and Omron platforms.Solid understanding of automation project documentation (URS, FDS, FAT, SAT).Familiarity with electrical schematics and control panel design is a plus.Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication skills.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment within the Food & Beverage industry.Professional development opportunities, including training and certifications.A supportive team culture that values collaboration and innovation.If you are a Controls Engineer with Mitsubishi and Omron PLC experience, looking to advance your career in the Food & Beverage industry, we'd love to hear from you!
