MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for a Production / Operations Manager

Join a dynamic and growing team at a reputable automotive repair shop. Dedicated to providing top-quality service and vehicle body repairs. With a track record of excellence and customer satisfaction, the repair centre is seeking an experienced Production / Operations Manager to join their growing and diverse team. This role is commutable from New Mills, Whaley Bridge, Marple, Poynton, Hazel Grove, Stockport, Hyde and surrounding areas.

As the Production / Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the repair centre to ensure timely and efficient repairs.

As the Production / Operations Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the repair centre, ensuring an efficient productive workflow and timely completion of repairs
  • Assign tasks to Technicians based on their skills and workload to optimise productivity
  • Maintain accurate workshop records, including job progress, invoicing, and billing as needed
  • Support team members by monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing guidance as required
  • Implement quality control measures to guarantee all repairs meet high standard
  • Conduct thorough final inspections before vehicle handover
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies and customers to ensure a smooth repair process
  • Oversee quality control of completed repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Responsibility for operational performance, working closely with Directors to enhance business efficiency
  • Addressing enquiries in a prompt and professional manner
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to

As the Production / Operations Manager, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Production / Operations Manager (Essential)
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of automotive repairs / techniques (Essential)

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM
