Are you a skilled financial professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and innovative environment?  Are you looking to work 3 days per week? TOTOM is seeking a part-time Financial Controller to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company!

TOTOM is the UK's most established Film and TV contractor and has been in scenery construction for over 25 years.  They build for Film, TV, commercials and events.  The company have built regularly for EastEnders and has created sets for the series such as Scoop, Mr Selfridge, Taboo, Gangs of London and many more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company's financial operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts.
  • Manage budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning.
  • Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Support the implementation of financial systems and controls.
  • Control all processes between Live costs and Xero.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software (Xero preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
