£31,512 - £37,531

We are currently on an exciting and innovative journey alongside Leicestershire County Council to deliver a range of children's homes for our most vulnerable young people ensuring they are able to stay close to home. We are looking for committed individuals who have a passion for working with care experienced children who have been a part of trauma and are vulnerable to sexual exploitation. Our beautiful new home in Hinkley will support children & young people between 8-18 years facing risks around exploitation, by identifying and responding to harm and abuse posed to them outside of their home environment and understanding the importance of intervention. The service will provide up to 3 service users at any one-time opportunities to enjoy different experiences, establish friendships and develop confidence, independence and social/emotional skills.

To apply;

Must hold a Level 3 qualification relevant to Residential Childcare.

Must hold OR be willing to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's services.

Must have at least 1 year supervisory and shift leader experience in a children's residential setting.

Knowledge and experience of working with OFSTED regulations and quality standards of children's homes with the ability to support the manager to achieve a rating of outstanding.

Knowledge and experience of recording and reporting to enable safeguarding and protection of children & young people.

This role is a very important and life changing role where you can assist children and young people in their walks of life. You will be leading a team of RSW’s and Senior’s to provide the best quality of care to the children and young people within your home. You will be supported by a Registered Childrens Home Manager.
