Your new role

In your new job as a Teaching Assistant with Hays, you will work on alongside class Teachers to create an enjoyable working environment for pupils by offering support in the classroom in a range of subjects including in Phonics, English and Maths. You'll work collaboratively to foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You will also benefit from the support of your dedicated Recruitment Consultant, Hollie, who will be on-hand throughout your placement and beyond.

What you need to succeed

To be successful in your new job, you will hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (i.e. you're an ECT or HLTA). This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is looking for more classroom-based experience. You'll need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be prepared to support SEND pupils. Most importantly, you'll be confident stepping into a new school ready to build relationships quickly!
