Our client is established manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

We are seeking candidates with at least 3 years previous electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment to take on a Monday to Friday (days) based role at our client's production facility in Hinckley.

The Role:

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for undertaking preventive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on electrical systems and equipment.

Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;

  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, identify root casues and repair safely.
  • Repair or replace faulty components e.g. motors, switches, wiring, circuit breakers etc etc
  • Maintenance and repair of production machinery including conveyors, lifting equipment and more.
  • Install, modify and upgrade electrical systems and equipment as and when needed
  • Maintain accurate records of work undertaken and maintain PPM systems

Candidate:

You will be a qualified electrician with 18th edition wiring regs certification and / or NVQ3 electrical engineering with at least 3 years electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing background.

You will be hard working, enthusiastic and highly motivated.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm
