We have an exciting opportunity for a trainee stock administrator/ warehouse picker to join our clients thriving team based in Hoddesdon. The hours for this role are 8.30am-5.00pm, Monday-Friday and pays national minimum wage. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a friendly organisation where training will be provided and your daily job will be varied. Candidates must be willing to learn, computer literate, able to lift heavy items and work independently on own initiative.

Duties:

  • Manage tickets online
  • Ensuring purchase orders are consolidated and have correct carriage applied
  • Maintaining and providing alternative products where necessary
  • Managing set-up receipts and give to workshop in a timely manner
  • Maintaining engineer and customer stock
  • Stock replenishments
  • Ensure changes to stock is carried out
  • Managing software codes on internal software
  • Ensuring changes to customer stock were instructed
  • Effective locating of stock and manage stock locations on internal systems
  • Ensure any stock anomalies are reported in a timely manner
  • Managing incoming and outgoing stock
  • Take delivery of all parts and consumable goods
  • Effectively manage any reserved stock
  • Send out deliveries each day
  • Pick outstanding tickets and orders
  • Managing labels and disposal of goods including ensuring all waste is disposed of daily and cardboard is managed weekly for recycling
  • Manage engineer parts returns are taken from stock as instructed on labels
  • Ensure all recycled parts harvested for tickets are despatched daily and harvested parts for stock are located and placed on shelving

Experience:

  • Computer literate
  • Ability to move and lift heavy items of stock within the warehouse
  • Good attention to detail
  • Flexible, adaptable with a 'can do’ attitude
  • Team player who works well on own initiative unsupervised once trained
