Orka Financial is currently partnering with a business based in Hook that is looking to recruit a Finance Director. The role reports to the Managing Director and has responsibility for providing the leadership and development of the EMEA’s Finance and Administration team to ensure the effective and compliant delivery of the finance functions while actively driving system, process, and cultural improvement. The Finance Director will immerse themselves in the business, operating at both strategic and hands-on level covering financial accounting, management accounting and reporting, financial planning and budgeting, internal controls and treasury & tax.Duties include,Overseeing the delivery of corporate services, including accounting, finance, and administration functions in accordance with the company’s policies and proceduresTaking responsibility for the preparation and reporting of company accounts and all statutory returns including company registration, shareholder matters and taxationDeveloping the Finance team to improve the EMEA’s financial, planning and analysis capabilities, meeting the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders and setting a high benchmark on providing key financial deliverables.Providing sound evidence-based financial insights so we make the best decisions, strategically and operationally, to support our business objectives and financial profitabilityThis role would suit someone qualified with EMEA experience. You will have proven experience at a similar level demonstrating skills in financial and accounting management including business planning and strategy, managing profitability, project management, formulating and monitoring budgets and financial reportingThe business operates a hybrid working model. Salary is dependent upon experience
