We are delighted to be working with this Horncastle based firm, who are looking for a Court of Protection Paralegal on a permanent full-time basis.Salary: £25,000 - £30,000Typical duties include:

  • File opening
  • Dealing with all initial enquiries
  • Dealing with the Court of Protection
  • Sending routine correspondence
  • Visiting clients and liaising with relevant the Deputy, Attorney or Representative as appropriate
  • Dealing with the general management of the clients personal affairs
  • Liaising with care homes / family members
  • Data inputting i.e. bank statements and ensuring records are kept up-to-date

Candidate specification:

  • Experience as a Paralegal within Court of Protection matters
  • Degree or a similar qualification
  • Employment experience within a legal firm
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work within a team or as an individual
  • Outstanding organisation skills
