Role Summary:Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to deliver strategic and operational people plans. Report to the HR Director Aviation, tailoring HR plans to align with business needs. Provide expert advice, coaching, and influence to ensure top-notch customer service, operational effectiveness, and value for money. Support a high-performance culture with strong employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage people strategy and plans, ensuring best practice and alignment with business objectives.
  • Review operational requirements with senior leadership and HR Director Aviation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand resource needs and develop solutions.
  • Lead IR activities, maintaining effective relationships with leadership, unions, and employees.
  • Drive organizational growth and change projects with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct due diligence for TUPE and acquisitions, providing intelligence and documentation.
  • Advise on mobilisation plans, ensuring implementation of agreed elements.
  • Lead HR/People analytics, collaborating with IT to prioritize sector projects.
  • Monitor workforce trends, analyze data, and provide business insights.
  • Establish and maintain employee relations culture, building trust and respect.
  • Develop and implement employee relations and engagement strategies.
  • Coach and influence managers to support business goals and drive change.
  • Provide employment law and policy advice, supporting ER Managers with complex cases.
  • Identify and develop sector-specific training and development needs, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
  • Develop and communicate recruitment strategy, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with people strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, regulations, and legislation.
  • Lead implementation of people-related policies and procedures.
  • Support HR Transformation for self-service, ensuring sector needs are met.
  • Promote equality and diversity within the business.
  • Undertake additional duties as required.
