With a significant footprint and a reputation for excellence, this company prides itself on delivering top-tier products and services to its customers.About the role* Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.* Analysing financial data and assisting in month end process.* Coordinating with the internal audit team to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.* Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.* Working with the accounting team to streamline accounting functions and operations.* Providing insightful information and expectations to company managers to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.* Reviewing financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness of the data.* Engaging in continuous knowledge development regarding sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.About you A successful Financial Accountant should have:* Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant is necessary (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)* Experience in industrial / manufacturing is ideal but not essential* Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.* Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ideally SAP (but not essential)* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.* Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthinessWhat you will get in return* A salary at market rate of someone with a 1 - 3 years post qualification experience with some industry experience.* Hybrid working model offering flexibility.* Free parking available for all staff.* Opportunity to work with a globally recognised organisation in the industrial / manufacturing industry.* Dynamic and supportive company culture.* Gym on-siteIf you're an experienced Financial Accountant looking for a new challenge in Huddersfield, please get in touch!
