A market leading supplier of bakery products and ingredients to food service, manufacturing and baking industries with over 6000 business customers across the UK, 300 staff and a turnover of £150m.
Area Sales Manager
A field sales role covering Sheffield, Halifax, Huddersfield and Bradford. You can be based anywhere in this territory and must be willing to travel - a company vehicle is provided.
Typically spending 3-4 days per week on the road you will be managing, developing and increasing sales profit contributions with existing and new customers in your area:
- Establishing and maintaining sound business relationships
- Over time doubling the customer base from 100-150 independent accounts
- Advising customers of current and future promotional activity and products launches
- Pan and execute sales opportunities within new markets
- To act as an ambassador for the group
- Dealing with any customer problems in a timely manner

Profile
- Full UK driving licence
- Post-graduate sales experience, ideally in a field based role
- Strong interest in food, particularly in baking!
- Results orientated with a positive outlook
