Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchase ledger and ensure all invoices are processed accurately and timely.
- Oversee the sales ledger, including raising invoices and monitoring accounts receivable.
- Handle credit control activities, ensuring prompt payment from clients and managing any overdue accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc accounting tasks and administrative duties.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve any invoice or payment queries.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
