We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for passionate and dedicated Behaviour Analysts to join a vibrant and inclusive special school in Huddersfield, catering to children aged 5-19 with complex autism. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and implement tailored strategies based on the analysis of triggers and consequences of behaviours, particularly for autistic children.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to support learning, as well as social and emotional needs.
  • Engage and motivate pupils by building trust and confidence, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to drive continuous improvement in learning quality.
  • Utilise excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children from diverse backgrounds and other staff members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Analyst or in a similar role, ideally within a special educational needs (SEN) setting.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of children with complex autism.
  • Ability to inspire, challenge, and stimulate both pupils and staff.
  • Flexible, reflective, and self-evaluating practitioner.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS check on the update service.
