Role Responsibilities- Assisting in audit assignments from planning to completion, working with a variety of businesses across different sectors
- Preparing financial statements and supporting audit procedures in compliance with UK regulations
- Conducting fieldwork, including testing controls, identifying risks, and analysing financial data
- Liaising with clients to ensure a smooth audit process, addressing queries and providing proactive advice
- Working closely with senior auditors and managers to deliver high-quality audits within set deadlines
- Preparing and reviewing corporate and personal tax computations as part of year-end procedures
- Supporting junior team members, assisting with their development and technical training
- Keeping up to date with audit regulations, accounting standards, and best practices

Candidate Requirements- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA, with a desire to continue studies
- Experience working in audit within an accountancy practice
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ability to manage workload and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using audit and accounting software, such as CaseWare, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and develop
- £28,000 to £38,000 per annum
