NPI Project Engineer - Kingston Upon Hull - Up to £45,000 + Benefits Ref: 1722
I am currently recruiting for a NPI Project Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in Hull.
The organisation has been in operation for over 30 years and are one of the leading Engineering companies in the UK and they employ over 250 employees UK wide. In addition to this they have a very well-established client base and are one of the most recognisable companies within their area of specialism.
To support the continued growth of the business and to deal with the amount of work they have now and forecasted they have the need to appoint a NPI Project Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a NPI Project Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out new business development projects to help support the Project Managers and to be able to carry out Design for manufacturing (DFM) when requested. In addition to this, you will be required to Project manage internally and externally through quotation stages, sourcing, design, develop and launches into the Production facility.
Furthermore, you will be required to liaise with third party companies to help with the tool development design and any related matters that may occur.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 Years experience as a Project Engineer
- Knowledge of reading 2D & 3D CAD Drawings
- Knowledge of Welding processes
- Plastic Industry experience (Plastic Injection moulding)
Desirable:
- Experience in using AutoCAD 2D & 3D
- Project Management experience
- Knowledge of IATF 16949
