- Oversee and manage cargo quality control processes from origin to destination
- Investigate cargo damage, loss, or quality discrepancies, and manage claims accordingly
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, carriers, and insurers regarding cargo claims
- Gather and analyse documentation to support claim resolutions
- Develop reports and trend analysis to identify recurring issues and drive process improvement
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to prevent future incidents
- Ensure all claim handling processes are compliant with relevant regulations and contractual obligations
- Previous experience in cargo claims, quality control, freight forwarding or supply chain logistics
- Strong analytical, investigative, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficient in using cargo or logistics software and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of insurance policies, and international trade regulations is a plus
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be willing to travel overseas frequently
- Due to the nature of the role, a valid UK passport is required for international travel and specific compliance protocols
