Deputy Care Manager

Location: Residential Care Home, HullSpecialism: Elderly and Dementia Care

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Care Manager to join our dedicated team in our residential care home located in Hull. Our home specializes in providing exceptional care for elderly residents, including those living with dementia, in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Position Details:
  • Salary: £15.00 per hour
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Oversee and lead the care team to deliver outstanding, person-centered care.
  • Support the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to residents' needs.
  • Conduct staff training, appraisals, and supervision to maintain high standards of care.
  • Ensure the home remains a safe, welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families, offering reassurance and support when needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, audits, and report preparation.

About You:
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role within a care setting.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or higher) or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and care home regulations.
