We are currently recruiting for an experienced Home Manager to oversee the day to day running of a 25 bedded Residential Care Home in Hull

We are inviting applications from ambitious, dynamic and driven Managers who are passionate and committed to providing a great place to live for the residents in their care. Applications from experienced Deputy Managers looking for career progression are also welcome.

The successful candidate will lead a dedicated staff team and you will inspire them to be the best they can be. You will have excellent communication skills and be a positive representative of the home.

Essential Criteria

Previous experience in a Registered Manager / Deputy Manager role.

Previous experience in controlling budgets.

Leadership qualities such as influencing and motivational skills, Skills in recruitment, selection and retention of staff role Responsibilities

Ideally you will have NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent;

You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations to ensure the highest standards are met.

Supervising, training, coaching and developing of new and existing care staff to guarantee provision of the highest level of care to residents in line with compliance guidelines.

Liaison and cooperation with other professionals, including CQC inspectors and inspections. Driving compliance in the home through care plan management, compliance, quality audits and the management of medication and statutory requirements.

Investigating any complaints, compiling reports and taking action as appropriate.

Accountability for all staffing requirements, including recruitment, performance management to ensure the home is safely staffed at all times.

The position offers a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum.
