Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager
Location: Hull, with once monthly travel to Scotland and Wales
Salary: Up to 60,000

We pride ourselves on our efficient logistics operations and are looking for a dedicated Logistics Operations Manager to join our dynamic team due to expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily transport operations to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and implement transport strategies to reduce costs.
- Maintain and manage fleet operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Ensure all transport activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on compliance performance, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in transport regulations and industry best practices.
- Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, space optimisation, and workflow management.
- Implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to improve productivity.
- Ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of orders.
- Develop and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular health and safety audits and risk assessments.
- Provide training and support to staff on health and safety practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must hold a Transport Management CPC.
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification is required.
- Proven experience in logistics, transport, and warehouse management.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to Scotland and Wales once per month.
