Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

Location: Hull, with once monthly travel to Scotland and Wales

Salary: Up to 60,000

We pride ourselves on our efficient logistics operations and are looking for a dedicated Logistics Operations Manager to join our dynamic team due to expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily transport operations to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop and implement transport strategies to reduce costs.
  • Maintain and manage fleet operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Ensure all transport activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on compliance performance, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in transport regulations and industry best practices.
  • Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, space optimisation, and workflow management.
  • Implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to improve productivity.
  • Ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Provide training and support to staff on health and safety practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must hold a Transport Management CPC.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification is required.
  • Proven experience in logistics, transport, and warehouse management.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to Scotland and Wales once per month.
