The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of a manufacturing facility that produces engineered products. The role requires effective management of the production process, ensuring the smooth running of multiple departments, maintaining optimal stock levels, and driving operational efficiency.

The role will consist of:

  • Monitor the machine shop and assembly stations and in turn all production activities across these areas, inclusive of the optimisation of machinery within.
  • Responsible for the training of staff including the production team, and all support staff ensuring everyone is working within a safe environment.
  • Working collaboratively between departments in the full business to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality.
  • Focus a continuous improvement mindset through full manufacturing processes.
  • Allocation of resource on time in full to meet production demands and project timelines.
  • Monitor operational expenses and work within set budgets.

The Operations Manager will be based on-site at the manufacturing facility, managing multiple production zones in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. They will be responsible for ensuring that production runs efficiently and meets the dynamic demands of the sector.
