Due to a growing order book and continued growth, our client is seeking an enthusiastic FLT Engineer to join their close-knit and established team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in engineering as well as a desire to continue developing their skills.Key responsibilities:
  • Repair and refurbish heavy handling equipment both on site as well as customer locations
  • Diagnose and identify faults using schematic drawings
  • Perform regular maintenance of equipment, including servicing, repair and part replacement
  • Provide excellent after-sales service to customers ensuring queries are resolved promptly
  • Manage your own workload effectively
  • Ensure you are adhering to all compliance and regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe working environment
What you’ll bring:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an engineering environment, heavy plant or agriculture would be considered
  • Full driving licence is essential
  • A solid understanding of mechanical engineering, especially forklift repair
  • Ability to use mechanical power tools and other workshop machinery
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently
  • A strong work ethic, as well the motivation to succeed
  • Good communication skills, with customer service experience being a bonus
