Mechanical Engineer

Your Role:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be at the heart of operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing planned preventative and reactive maintenance efficiently and safely.
  • Proactively addressing maintenance issues, reporting faults and defects promptly.
  • Ensuring all mechanical and maintenance equipment meets current standards and legislation.
  • Fault-finding and resolving breakdowns and performance issues quickly to meet operational targets.
  • Proposing tactical solutions to keep activities on schedule.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in maintaining heavy plant and machinery in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Excellent fault-finding skills and a commitment to safe working practices.
  • Qualifications to ONC/OND level in Mechanical Engineering and a working AP(LV).
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A dedication to maintaining Health and Safety standards.
