Role: Health & Safety Office
Location: Huntingdon Cambridgeshire
Hours: Mon – Thurs 08.30am – 5pm, Friday 08.30pm – 4.30pm
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
My client is a family run business just outside of Huntingdon Cambridgeshire and we are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety and Compliance Officer who is passionate and committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

What will you be doing in the health & safety officer role?
- Motivate staff to adhere to health and safety practices
- Performance monitoring and compliance
- Collating statistical information for health and safety management
- Evidence compliance within auditing
- Undertake inspections on site and working at heights
- Present information in forms, tables and spreadsheets
- Development of a robust management system and assisting the directors finding the right strategy for H&S moving forward and supporting the Senior Staff to Lead the H&S initiatives.
What we would like from you:
- NEBOSH L3 qualification or equivalent.
- Fire Safety IOSH
- Strong background in Warehouse, Logistics and manufacturing.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects
- Experience of collaborating with all levels to create and maintain H&S policies, processes and risk assessments.
- Policy/Process/Quality Control knowledge
