Based at their head office in Huntingdon, our client is looking for an experienced IFS Support Technician to join the business, as a first line technician.  The role will be instrumental in the implementation of IFS and will be a subject matter expert for all enquiries from employees.  

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and functional support for the IFS (Industrial and Financial Systems) enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. You will troubleshoot issues, support local data administration, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes using the IFS platform.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide first-line and second-line support for IFS-related issues 
  • Log and track issues to resolution
  • Manage and maintain data integrity within the IFS platform
  • Support data migration, cleansing, and validation activities
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom reports and dashboards
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training sessions for end-users on IFS functionalities and best practices
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system workflows, user guides, and issue resolution guides
  • Develop skills in IFS Customer Engagement app creation, leveraging the platform's capabilities to build custom applications and solutions

To be suitable for the role, you will have the following skills and experience: 

  • Hands-on experience with IFS Applications, preferably in a support or analyst role.
  • Experience with ERP systems, database management, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of IFS modules such as Finance, Service Management, Mobile Work Order, HR, and Supply Chain.
  • Experience with system integrations and APIs is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • May require occasional after-hours support for critical system issues or upgrades.
