As part of a close-knit team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects, including CAT A and CAT B fit-outs, as well as construction projects involving groundworks, and steel frames.Position OverviewWe are seeking an Estimator with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join our Stockport-based team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both fit-out and new-build projects, with experience in CAT A and CAT B schemes. The successful candidate will work on a range of projects within the retail, leisure, and commercial sectors, including complex builds involving groundworks, cladding, and steel frames.Key ResponsibilitiesEstimating & Cost Management: Accurately prepare cost estimates for projects, including both fit-out and new-build schemes.Project Assessment: Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and requirements to ensure accurate costings.Tender Preparation: Prepare competitive tenders for a wide variety of projects, ensuring all requirements are met.Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate project costing and smooth project execution.Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with the procurement team to source materials and services, ensuring projects remain within budget.Project Variety: Work on a range of retail and leisure projects, including high-profile fit-outs and new builds, often involving complex groundworks and steel frame structures.Team Collaboration: Work as part of a close-knit team, collaborating with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.Key RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in estimating, ideally within the retail, leisure, and commercial sectors.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects as well as new-build schemes, including groundworks, and steel frame construction.Attention to Detail: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision.Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.Software Proficiency: Proficient in using relevant estimating software and MS Office applications.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a small, dynamic team.What We OfferSalary: Up to £45,000, depending on experience.Project Variety: The opportunity to work on high-profile projects with well-known high street clients.Team Environment: Be part of a supportive, close-knit team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Career Development: Opportunities for growth and development within the company, working on exciting projects across the UK.Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
