Are you an experienced primary school HLTA seeking a new and exciting opportunity for immediate start in Redbridge, London.

Would you like the opportunity to lead on a nurture class within this primary school, assisting with progress of children with SEN?

Academics are currently working with a mainstream primary school in Redbridge, London who are seeking an experienced and qualified HLTA to join them ASAP to help lead their 'nurture' class on a full time, long term basis.

This role will be working in this primary schools 'nurture' class which is with around 8-10 children with additional needs to assist with their individual needs to ensure positive outcomes in their development and time at school.

These children with have a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH etc and be of primary age from EYFS to KS2.

Your role will entail leading the class alongside 5-6 teaching assistants in the class delivering lessons and interventions.

You will work closely with this mainstream primary schools class teachers to deliver the national curriculum in the 'nurture' class and assist with daily integration into their mainstream lessons.

You will work closely with the SENCO to ensure the children's needs are being met as well as working alongside with outside organisations such as Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational therapists and other external companies.

For this role you must hold the HLTA qualification or the equivalent as you will be leading the class.

You must have experience working with SEN or delivering lessons within a primary or SEN setting.

Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is essential!
