We are assisting a leading law firm in Scotland, who are seeking a Patent Formalities Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous IP experience to leverage their skills. A CIPA Admin qualification would be an advantage, although this may not be essential for a candidate with great experience. The ability to manage deadlines effectively, produce accurate correspondence, and prioritise tasks well will be required.

Within this role, you’ll be providing a high standard of administrative support to Patent Attorneys. Duties would include:

  • Monitoring inboxes.
  • Producing appropriate correspondence to IPOs.
  • Responding in a timely manner to client queries.
  • Accurately updating case records with all relevant information.
  • Deadline management.
