Commissioning Engineer - Ipswich - 50,000 OTE
A client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting a Commissioning Engineer to join their team. You will oversee the commissioning of automated converting machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that machinery is ready for customer SAT and functioning efficiently to meet their needs.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Commission and test machines ready for the customer acceptance tests in Ipswich
- Testing and validating the machinery's performance, including the mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Providing technical support to customers and troubleshooting any issues that arise
- Training customer personnel in the operation and maintenance of the machinery.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reports on progress and machinery performance.
- Collaborating with our engineering team to provide feedback and suggest improvements
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Commissioning Engineer position:
- Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the installation and commissioning of automated machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects to completion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and team members.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites occasionally.
