Design Coordinator

Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with a leading contractor based in Ipswich to finda talented Design Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

You willsupport their projects from concept through to completion and also play a key role in coordinating design activities, ensuring that all designs meet project specifications and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop and refine joinery designs.
• Produce and review detailed drawings and plans using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate design efforts with the production team to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation and ensure design compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in resolving any design-related issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide design solutions that align with their vision.

Requirements:

• AutoCAD Experience: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with a strong ability to create and modify technical drawings.
• Joinery Experience: Previous experience in joinery or carpentry is highly desirable, though not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach with a problem-solving mindset.
