Role Overview:
They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to join their established, friendly team. In this role, you will collaborate with project teams to ensure design requirements are met, coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors. You will play a key part in driving projects from concept to completion, ensuring smooth design integration and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate design activities across multiple projects
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure design compliance
- Assist in managing design documentation and drawings
- Support the project team in resolving design issues
- Ensure all designs adhere to building regulations and standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in a design coordination role, ideally within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of design and construction processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is advantageous
