SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)Location - IsleworthWe are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSA) for part-time and full-time opportunities. These are long-term roles, with the potential for ongoing work and temporary contracts.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students aged 16-19 years with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions to help students succeed academically.
  • Support students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other SEN.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create and implement personalized education plans.
  • Assist with the development of students' social, communication, and independence skills.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous SEN experience is essential.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required (if you do not have one, it can be arranged).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
  • A compassionate, proactive approach to working with young people with diverse needs.
  • Ability to support a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
