An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Service Desk Engineer to join a company delivering critical technology solutions to high-profile clients across the UK.

The successful candidate will be working onsite in their offices near Bradford, with travel sometimes required to customer sites across the UK and internationally - as such a full driving licence is a must.

The Role

As a Service Desk Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding IT support, ensuring system uptime, and delivering an excellent service desk experience. This role involves troubleshooting network infrastructure, security systems, and customer-specific IT solutions. You will be responsible for proactive and reactive support, working closely with IT Managers and end users, ensuring seamless operation of critical public sector services.

What’s Required?

The ideal Service Desk Engineer will bring:

  • Strong experience in an IT Service Desk Engineer or Network Engineer position, ideally working for an MSP

  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft environments (AD, Azure AD, Windows Server, GPO, SQL)

  • Solid networking knowledge, including firewalls, LAN configuration, and diagnostics

  • Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) and Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV3+SC)

  • Experience with CCTV systems, ideally including Milestone and BriefCam applications, with a strong understanding of infrastructure and deployment.
