Deputy Manager - Support Services (16 to 18-year-olds)

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our support services, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for the young people in our program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager in the overall management and leadership of the support services.
  • Supervise and support a team of dedicated staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for young people.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services, making improvements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for young people.
  • Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within support services for young people.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in youth support services.
  • A relevant qualification in social work, youth work, or a related field is desirable.
