ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - KELVEDON - UP TO 33K - OFFICE BASED
A client of ours in the Kelvedon area is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent office-based position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying 27,000 - 33,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in client queries via telephone and email
- Liaising with suppliers
- Processing payments
- Credit checking and processing new business applications
- Chasing and managing overdue debt
- Reconciling supplier invoices
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Invoicing customers
- Downloading bank statements and allocating customer payments
- Processing direct debits
- Actioning Experian monitoring notifications
- Any other adhoc duties required by management
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Accounts Assistant position:
- Accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Sage 50 (desirable)
- Microsoft Office package
- You must be a driver with your own transport to be considered due to location not being commutable via public transport
- Previous experience working in an Accounts Assistant role
- Accountancy qualification beneficial but not essential
