Our client is a dynamic business operating with the service sector with the upside of a green / renewable focus.

As part of the companies continued growth, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Finalist or Qualified Accountant to join the business at the companies UK head office based Warwick.

As Financial Controller your focus is to provide support to the finance and admin function. You will be responsible for the preparation of reliable, accurate and timely financial information.

Reporting into our Head of Finance, your remit will include: -• Preparation of monthly management accounts (including, preparation of month end journals; preparation of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements; and monthly balance sheet reconciliations).• Preparing periodic financial statements, including departmental analysis, forecasts, budgets, cash analysis, variance analysis and commentaries.• Regular bespoke client reporting.• Maintenance of accounting processes and procedures.• Cash flow management and forecasting.• Fixed Asset maintenance and reporting.• Support with the review and sign off of payroll.• Implementation and improvement of strong internal controls.• Act as a conduit for both internal and external audits.• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.• Support the Head of Finance in the management and development of the finance team.• Deputise where required.• Ad hoc duties when required.

The ideal candidate will be working towards and in the later stages of ACA / ACCA / CIMA if not already qualified and

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant / Finance Manager / Financial Controller• High attention to detail & ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.• Strong analytical skills, ability to identify & solve ambiguous problems.• High level of energy & commitment.• Able to work to tight deadlines.• Flexible and able to quickly adapt to change.• Computer literate with excellent MS Excel skills.

In return a competitive basic salary up to £55,000 (DOE and Quals) coupled with excellent benefits, bonus and study support towards (ACCA / CIMA) for those still studying can be offered.
